CLOTHES WITH A HUMAN TOUCH - I always thought I'll knit so many sweaters for myself that at the end of my life I will be able to put together a massive exhibition of them and they would kind of tell the story of my life. But as I've learned, life is the one who's telling stories."KAMPSUN" means 'sweater' in estonian language and it was the name for my shop that made sense. Today we live a life so fast that rarely does a person have the time to really think and just be. That's the thing I like most about knitting - its slowness. When I see how much time and care it takes to make a sweater I feel somehow eased. Besides knitting just a garment out of wool I like to think that I knit good thoughts and wishes into it. And that outcome can never be reached with a machine.I still can't believe that there is such a place as Etsy - a community that cherishes handmade. When selling and buying from Etsy, I'm changing the community around me. Every order I get is a chance to develop my skills and learn. It gives me satisfaction when I know someone is wearing and loving something that I have made with my own two hands.
